The HSS RASMOS Program Manager and his PMO Team Lead expressed their appreciation of your project team’s work on this contract thus far to your ASDG Program Manager. He let you know the HSS RASMOS PMO Team Lead seemed quite enthused, and because her only project management experience was using the Agile project management approach, she was going to use this approach. All well and good, you think, but you question whether any project should be approached without considering other possibilities. When a project manager has only one approach, take a hammer to all problems that look like a nail. Maybe other tools should be considered. So, you mention this to your Program Manager, and he agrees a discussion is in order.
