Hello everyone, my name is Kortez Hopkins and I am currently living in Atlanta, GA. I am an US Army veteran, I spent 8 years in the US Army as a 19KR4 which is an Armor Crewman (tanker). I loved everything about the military, being a part of a team and all of the experience gained while being a soldier. I have 6 children that are all very active. 4 in high school, one in 8th grade and one still in elementary. The most important thing to me is my children, I strive so hard to provide a better life than what I had experienced growing up. I am taking this course as it was a requirement after transferring. I plan to learn as much as possible from this course especially with the network aspect. My professional plans are to eventually join the GBI here in Atlanta. Once finishing my degree, I plan to do an internship and possibly be bought on full time. I have been at the University almost a year as I transferred from a different school. I plan to learn the overall evolution of criminal justice and apply the learning to my field.
