Hello I am looking for an essay to be written for a university assessment. The topic question is
Within your essay, you will select a health issue and a target group and explain why this health issue is relevant for your target group. You will then discuss two social determinants of health which are relevant for your target group in relation to the health issue. Finally, you will discuss the role of the nurse in promoting the health and wellbeing of your chosen target group.
Chosen Topic:
Health issue – Smoking
Target group – Older people
Social determinants – two social deterrents
Role of the nurse in promoting health and wellbeing
The sources (articles, journals etc) must be UK based as much as possible as this is a UK paper. Peer-reviewed sources is preferable and sources should be within a 5-7 year timeframe (2018 onwards is fine).
Some sources which are ideal/essential to refer to would be The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) which is a regulatory body for Nursing and Midwifery professionals within the UK- therefore good to refer back to when talking about the nurses role.
Can you please use/refer to Dahlgren and Whitehead model within the essay when writing and discussing the social determinants etc.
